What is the SPSF Alumni Council?
The SPSF Alumni Council is a team of SPSF graduates who would like to maintain their involvement in the program.

What in the world do I have to contribute?
The answer to this question is as varied as the number of graduates we’ve seen in the last several years. We would like to involve as many graduates as possible to participate in one-time special projects, fundraisers, speaking engagements, mentoring, selection process (reading applications and interviews), stuffing envelopes, and serving as “hosts” at the graduation reception and other SPSF events.

I just don’t have the time to commit to anything!
We would be surprised if you did! We’re not seeking a long-term commitment or even a monthly meeting commitment. Right now we are looking for guidance to see what graduates from our program are able to do to give back to the community.

Alumni Sponsored Scholarship
SPSF has an annual matching grant from Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fun. A contribution of $25 could be turned into $50! If 13 graduates donated $25 that was doubled by the state, the Alumni Council could sponsor a student for one full semester!
